April 27, 2015—Kahla Middle School sixth-grade student Daniela Banegas believes that graduating and having a better future is important. She looks forward to passing the STAAR test and moving on to the seventh grade in 2015-2016, where she will have the opportunity to learn new things.

Accomplishments: Making good grades in school and winning awards in our Manor celebrations.

Favorite class: I like all my classes because all my teachers are nice and teach well.

Favorite things to do after class: Be with my family and play with my dog. I also like to draw.

Favorite song: Drama by Gloria. “It talks about God and is a very nice song.”

Favorite website: “I don’t really use websites because I like to be outside playing with my dog.”

Favorite TV show: The Flintstones or Tom and Jerry. “They are funny and cool cartoons.”

Favorite movie: Step Up Revolution. “I like how they dance.”

Ambition: “My ambition is to graduate and have a good job and a good life. It is very important to graduate and to have a better future.”

What topics/things are you passionate about? “Everything, because I am a very passionate person!”

What inspires you? “My sister, because she always tries and she is hard-working. She also does the correct things in her life.”

What three things can’t you live without? My family (“I love them all and they are there for me.”), education (“I want to have a good job and life.”) and God.

What are you most looking forward to this semester? “Getting good grades and passing the STAAR. I want to go to seventh grade and learn new things.”
